Rachel joined Sandpiper Hospitality in February 2022, bringing over a decade of payroll experience to the team. Before joining Sandpiper, she spent eight years in the medical field, where she built a strong foundation in payroll processing, compliance, and accuracy across multiple states and organizations.
At Sandpiper, Rachel leads payroll operations while also stepping into human resources support, expanding her role to include responsibilities like onboarding, benefits coordination, and employee support. Rachel has quickly become a trusted resource for both departments, known for her reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and grow.
She plays a key role in ensuring team members are paid accurately and on time, while also helping to support a positive employee experience across the organization.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her two kids and her granddaughter. Whether it's a weekend outing or simply relaxing at home, family time is where she recharges and finds balance.
Kimberly joined Sandpiper Hospitality in May 2022 and serves as the Senior Human Resources Manager, bringing a solid background in hospitality operations and a strong focus on people strategy. Originally from the Philippines, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management before moving to the U.S. to complete an internship in the industry. That early hands-on experience set the foundation for a career that combines both operational knowledge and a genuine interest in supporting teams.
Over the years, Kimberly transitioned into Human Resources, where she found her niche. From recruiting and onboarding to employee relations and compliance, she brings practical experience and a clear, people-focused approach to her work. Her hospitality roots give her a natural understanding of team dynamics and guest-centered environments, which she leverages in HR to help build strong, service-driven cultures.

A recent graduate of Christopher Newport University, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies.
